Tracy Ann Carson

Tracy Ann Carson of Timberville, Va., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, after a brief illness. Her husband and daughter were by her side. She was 45.Born May 28, 1971 in Bristol, Pa., Tracy was the daughter of Barry and Laura (Braud) Scheffler.For the past 12 years, Tracy was the receptionist at PB Mares, LLP in Harrisonburg, Va. and was the cheerful voice and smiling face at the front desk that clients and fellow employees adored.She was passionate with her involvement with Relay for Life and The Well Armed Woman. Tracy was a dedicated equestrian and horse enthusiast and was a member of the Shenandoah Valley Trail Riders Association.She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Carson; her beloved daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Stieffenhofer; her father, Barry Scheffler and his wife, Gail; her mother, Laura Scheffler; grandmother, Evelyn Scheffler; brothers, Wayne Scheffler and his wife, Michelle, and Roy Scheffler; sister, Annie Scheffler; grandchildren, Sydney Carson and Autumn Carson; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Carson, Jr., and grandparents, Dale Scheffler and William and Marjorie Braud.A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, officiated by Pastor Owen Griffiths.
