Thomas C. Erb

It is with heavy hearts that we lay to rest our beloved Tommy. He entered into eternal peace on Friday, November 25, 2011 at the age of 27. A kind, loving man, Tom brightened the lives of all he met. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Tom and Jill Erb; sister and brother-in-law, JuliAnn and Erich Boldt; nephews Christian, Mitchell and Alexander; wife Lara (nee Ebner) and his most treasured son and "mini-me", Hank. He will also be missed by his mother and father-in-law, Bill and Kathy Ebner; and all members of the Ebner, Erb, and Griesemer families including his grandmothers Patricia Erb and Miriam Griesemer; and lastly his close-knit family of friends, especially Eric, Sean, Joe, Jay and Steve. A Flyers and hockey fanatic, Tom enjoyed watching and attending games with Hank and spent many years on various ice and roller hockey teams. He also enjoyed spending time skiing with his family in the Poconos and tasting all the local brews with his friends. Tom was a phenomenal father and being with Hank was, by far, his favorite past time. His warmth, humor, compassion and zest for life is why he will be missed by many, many people. We love you Tommy. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends may also call on Tuesday from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
