Born in Philadelphia, PA, Susan was a longtime resident of Levittown and was a 1979 graduate of the former Woodrow Wilson High School.
Her passion in life was always to be the caregiver, first to her sister, Diane and additionally in her role as an aide with Keystone Hospice. Her compassion and empathy for others allowed her to touch so many people's lives. She was a phenomenal cook with an eye for fashion and lover of a good deal.
Susan is the loving mother of Dana M. Meholic (Christopher) and Lisa Hessian (Melissa) and the devoted grandmother of Kassidy and William.
She is the dear sister of Terri, Gerri and Diane Bernard, Kate Salvador, and Melinda Yurgevich.
Susan will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Anne (Bannigan) and Richard English.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will be held privately.
