Stephen G. Donahue

Stephen G. Donahue of Levittown passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was 62.Born in Philadelphia, Stephen was a life long resident of Levittown.He worked at U.S. Steel's Fairless Works for many years.Stephen loved being with friends and family He also loved fishing, crabbing, playing cards and games, shooting pool and being an all around jokester. He was a great cook and absolutely loved being able to do this for family and friends. His most frequently used phrase was "taste this, taste this". Above all, Stephen was loving and kind and had the ability to make every one laugh.Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Gerald, his mother, Dolores, and his brother David Donahue.He is the husband of Donna (Delia) and the father of David (Jaimee), Dominic (Becky), Stephen (Marieen), James, David (Marie) and Danielle (Tom). He is the grandfather of 15.Stephen is survived by his brothers, Michael (Karen), Peter (Diane), Paul, Mark, Matthew (Olga), Brian (Heather), Glenn, Luke (Roxann); his sisters Diane Amareld (Don), Suzanne Coffey, and Lori Ellis (Mike); brothers and sisters-in-law, Rory Martin (Gary), George Delia (Maggie), Ron Delia (Sue) and 41 nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call from 8:30 until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment of ashes will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
