Born in Abington, PA, Sean spent his life as a mama's boy. He had a great love and special bond with his mother, Heather Pursell Sprouse who treasured every second with Sean, as he was the love of her life.
Sean was a loyal and passionate son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He would give you the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. He had a huge heart and tried to spread love around to the people he loved. If you were someone he loved he would do anything for you. If he did not like you, you did not question if he didn't like you, because he let you know.
Sean may not have always made the best decisions and was often very impulsive, but when he really put his mind to something he believed in, he could accomplish anything he wanted.
He was someone that loved riding or driving anything with wheels. Growing up he taught himself tricks on his scooters and bicycles, doing wheelies down the street and later wheeling dirt bikes, motorcycles, quads, scaring his mom to death.
Sean was loved and cherished by many people. He is survived by his mother, Heather; his step father, Joseph Sprouse; his brothers, Dan Pursell, Anthony Schiavone, Steve Hughes, Steven Atkinson, Zachary Sureth, Jaxon Hughes and Michael Bentivogli and many other brothers who weren't blood, but definitely family. His sisters, Amanda Atkinson, Gaia Maddy, Harley Hughes and Lili Tomaselli and hundreds of non-blood sisters that he considered family.
Sean was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Frank Pursell, III, his maternal grandmother, Cynthia Ann Wallace, and his paternal grandmother, Mary Frances Cohen.
He is also survived by his uncles, Chris Pursell, Timothy Filoon and Nicholas Filoon; his aunts Rebecca Pursell and Misty Mazzochi; his cousins and close knit friends, Shane, Alex and Taylor Pursell, Mary and Jayson Eib, Amanda Bowman, Julie Corcoran and Carmine Bowman; his nephews, Noah Hughes, Hunter and Emmit Atkinson; his nieces Shiloh Pursell and Laila Atkinson; and many more adopted family members, too large to count.
He will also be deeply missed by those closest to him, his mom, his friends, Joey, Dave, Fred, Michael, Alex, Shane, Chase, William, Amberley, Amber and Hannah. I am sure I forgot people, but you all know who you are. He loved each and every one of you, especially the ladies.
A public visitation for Sean will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056, followed by family eulogies at 12:00 PM.
