Born in Trenton, NJ to the late Joseph and Stella Albanowski, Ron was a loving husband, father and grandfather (poppy). He was married to his beloved wife Doris for 64 years. He had two children Cheryl Cupo and Dave Albanowski (Jessica). Ron also had four grandchildren he loved very much, Andrew Cupo, Christian Cupo (Maggie), David Albanowski Jr. (Kelly) and Kimberly Albanowski (Paige).
He was a proud US Air Force veteran having served active duty and in the reserves. He had a BS degree in Industrial Engineering after going part time for 7.5 years, while working two full time jobs. After leaving corporate life, he enjoyed working on computers and even got his Real Estate license in PA and NJ.
Ron was a devout Catholic who volunteered at St Joseph the Worker as an usher among other things, until it was closed. Ron enjoyed stock car racing back in the day, which later grew into NASCAR. He enjoyed working on projects with his son, including fixing and restoring 60s and 70s era muscle cars.
Ron was a caring and genuinely kind and generous man, who was loved by all for his amazing nature. Ron will be sadly missed by many.
A Memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, followed by a funeral mass at St. Michael the Archangel, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, PA 19054.
Burial with full military honors will take place at 2:00 pm at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA. Please be in line at the main office no later than 1:45 pm.
