Robert C. Pett Robert C. (Bob) Pett died on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was 82. Born and raised in Fredericksburg, IA, the son of the late Charles and Doris Pett, and formerly of Bristol, Mr. Pett has been a Middletown Township resident for 32 years. He was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish. Mr. Pett was a supervisor with GM/Fisher Body, Ewing, NJ for 37 years until his retirement. After retiring, he was the treasurer of the GM/Fisher Salaried Retirees Club. He was an US Army Air Force veteran, obtaining the rank of Sergeant. He was a Colonel with the Commerative Air Force Delaware Valley Wing and was a member of the Air Force Association of New Jersey. Mr. Pett will be missed by his friends and colleagues. Beloved husband of 61 years to Rita G. (Gargarella), Mr. Pett is the loving father of Dennis R. and his wife, Valera of Franklin, TN, Robert A. and his wife Kathi of Thompson's Station, TN and Kristina B. Pett of Boca Raton, FL: The devoted grandfather of Dennis Jr. (Carolyn), Krysta Schloss (Robert), Ryan, Matthew, Zachary and Emily; the great grandfather of Christopher, Nicholas, and Alyssa and the brother of Donald Pett of Fredericksburg, IA. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Grahlman. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, 7:00 until 9:00 pm and Saturday, 8:30 until 9:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, Levittown followed by Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery.
