Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Williams has been a long time resident of Fairless Hills. She worked for the American Red Cross for many years.
Mrs. Williams loved to travel to the beach and the mountains. She was also an avid reader, enjoyed going to the movies and eating out. Mostly, she was a true Matriarch of her family and never missed a family function. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Beloved wife of the late Roney Williams, Mrs. Williams was the loving mother of Roney (Patricia) and Danny (Jennifer) and the devoted grandmother of Chloe and Aaron.
She will also be missed by her sisters, Beryl Rickards, who was her best friend, and Janis Nevling as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Glen and Thomas Rickards.
Family and friends are invited to call from 7 until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 1st at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Home Society of New Jersey, 635 S. Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ 08611.
