Norma Asta (nee Capotosti) died suddenly on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 89. Born in Trenton, NJ, Norma was the daughter of the late Vincenza (Federici) and Giovanni Capotosti. Norma and her late husband, Augustine "Augie", were the owners of Augie's Restaurant and Tavern in Morrisville for 30 years. She was a great Italian cook who loved to cook at the restaurant and was famous for her chicken cacciatore. Mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is the loving mother of Diane Cullen, Linda Pringle and her husband Bob, Thomas Asta, and John Asta and his wife, Michelle. She will also be sadly missed by her 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and her sister Lia Bruschi of Trenton, NJ. She was preceded in death by her brother Al Capotosti of Trenton. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 until 9:00 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown 19056. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Trenton.
