Millard S. George

Millard S. George Millard "Bud" S. George died at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Born and raised in Philadelphia, and formerly of Trenton and Penndel, Mr. George has been a Falls Township resident for many years. He was a member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, where he served as an usher for many years. He was a graduate of the former Langhorne High School. Until retiring, Mr. George was employed with General Motors, Fischer Body Division in West Trenton where he was a pipe fitter for over 40 years. Mr. George served in the US Navy. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph the Worker Council #4215 and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #6176 of Morrisville. Mr. George was also a member of the Yardley Country Club. Beloved husband of nearly 64 years to Vilma M. (Szabo), Mr. George is the loving father of Karen L. Trembula (Keith) of Jamesville, WI, Laura S. Mills (Julien) of Plymouth Meeting, Susan A. George of Fairless Hills and the late Lane T. George. He was the very proud grandfather of 7, great grandfather of 3 and brother of Michael Lane. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 8:30 until 9:30 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 South Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills PA 19030, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the above church.
