Mary T. Blair

Mary T. Blair died on Friday, November 20, 2015 at her home. She was 95.Born and raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia, Mrs. Blair was an original Levittown homeowner and member of Queen of the Universe parish. She has been a resident of Newtown for the past 8 years.She was a sales associate at the former Pomeroy's in the Levittown Shopping Center for 15 years.She enjoyed crocheting and reading, but most important to her were the times spent with her family.Mrs. Blair was the beloved wife of the late Harry J. and the loving mother of Joseph H. (Lacey) of Newtown, Marie C. Bond (Charles) of Levittown, Betty Ann Simpson (James) of Levittown, Kathleen M. Shortt (Kenneth) of Levittown, Diane M. Harker (the late Bud) of Levittown and the late Patricia A. Dalessandro (Joseph) of Newtown.She was the devoted grandmother of 16; great grandmother of 18; and aunt to several nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
