Marjorie A. Thomas Marjorie A. Thomas passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at her home with her daughter by her side. She was 82 and had suffered from a long, courgeous battle. Born and raised in Reynoldsville, PA, and a graduate of the Reynoldsville High School, she was employed as a seamstress at the former Reynoldsville Casket Company and also worked at the Television Tube Factory. She was a resident of Falls Township since 1953. Marjorie was an active member of the Falls Township Senior Citizen Center where she enjoyed doing crafts and sewing. Her number one love in life was that of her family and her dogs. She also enjoyed her vacation home in Ocean View Resort outside of Sea Isle City, the beach and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. With her daughter, Linda, Marjorie started a ceramic business. She was a very skilled painter. Marjorie also loved plants and gardening. She was extremely supportive of her granddaughter's competitive roller skating career and will be remembered as a happy, loving person. Beloved wife of the late Donald O. Thomas, Marjorie was the loving mother of Linda Jean Shaw (Wayne) of Fairless Hills and the very proud grandmother of Jamie Lynn Shaw. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Seel and Venna (Seifert) Douthit and her three brothers and two sisters. Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, 7:00 until 9:00 pm and on Thursday, 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her Funeral Service will be held on Thurdsay at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Chandler Hall Health Services, 99 Barclay Street, Newtown, PA 18940.
