Margaret M. Van Arsdale

Born in Philadelphia, Peg was raised in Levittown and was a member of Queen of the Universe parish. She was a 1970 graduate of Bishop Conwell High School and graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes Nursing School in 1973.

Peg worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Mary Medical Center serving as the head nurse on MS2 for 20 years and as the Director of Infection Control for 15 years. She also owned Atlantic Clinical Research along with her love, Peter Frederick.

Peg was very talented artistically and enjoyed painting, knitting and crocheting baby blankets which she donated to Cradle to Crayons. She also enjoyed creating various types of crafts including jewelry, Christmas ornaments and pop-up cards.

Peg loved traveling the world with Peter and spending time at their Shore house on Long Beach Island, NJ.

Peg was preceded in death by her long time partner, Peter Frederick.

She was the beloved daughter of the late George and Margaret Van Arsdale, and is survived by her two loving sisters, Mary Ann Underwood (Robert) and Elizabeth Woland (late Robert). She was a devoted and much loved aunt to nephews, Bob Underwood (fiancee, Alexandra Patykowska) and Jim Underwood (wife, Kate Todd); niece, Dr. Kate Brammer (husband, Nick) and their son, Calvin.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will be held privately.
