Margaret J. Reilly

Margaret J. "Peggy" Reilly died surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 20, 2012 at her home. She was 61. Born in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Sara (Collins) and Herman Elling, she was a life long Bucks County resident residing in Morrisville for the past 35 years. Peggy was a 1969 graduate of Pennsbury High School where she played field hockey and basketball. She was employed as a program manager at Princeton University for 25 years before her recent retirement. Peggy enjoyed quilting and traveling, however her greatest love was being a grandmom and spending time with her granchildren. Beloved wife of nearly 40 years to Francis A., Peggy was the loving mother of Shane P. Reilly (Linda), Tara Reilly Zarillo (Michael) and Justin M. Reilly (Kristin). She was the devoted grandmother of Charlotte and Alexander Reilly, Addison and Sloane Zarillo, Cailyn and Gavin Reilly and the sister of Kathleen McCloskey (Michael), Shawn Leidy (John) and David Elling (Dale). Peggy will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, 343 South Broad Street, Trenton, NJ followed by Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery. There will be no calling hours on Thursday morning.
