Born on May 22nd, 1958 in Abington, PA, Margie spent her life in Levittown, PA and was a well-known and revered member of the community. She was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Margaret (Hastings) Charlton, her brother David Charlton, and two grandchildren, Maximus and Laura.
Margie leaves behind a loving legacy. She is survived by her devoted husband and high school sweetheart, Craig Jensen, and their four daughters: Julie (Scott) Greco, Valarie (Nicholas) Graves, Ashley (Andrew) Shearer, and Elizabeth (Casey) Cappello. Her heart overflowed with love for her seven grandchildren: Kyle, Lucas, Theodore, Jensen, John, Benjamin and Jordan. She will also be deeply missed by her brother Stephen Charlton Jr., sister Donna (Jay) Moses, brother Scott (Sherri) Charlton, and many loving family and friends.
Margie and Craig shared an everlasting love for nearly 50 years. They met at Neshaminy High School and shared many adventures together including flying sailplanes, competing in bowling leagues, filling their weekends with music and dancing, and growing a family.
The pillar of her family, Margie was known for her nurturing spirit and deep-hearted love. She adored spending time with her family and showering them with homemade crafts and food. She was so talented that her friends convinced her to enter a few craft competitions and she earned a blue ribbon each time. Margie’s passion for art, crafts, and baking drove her to test the waters as an entrepreneur by selling her crafts independently, opening a consignment store (Marge’s Hope Chest), selling collectibles on eBay, and running her own bakery business. All of this was driven by her desire to be surrounded by the things she loved. In her golden years, her creativity expanded in the form of handmade crafts for all her children, grandchildren, and beyond. Her crafts leave behind Margie’s legacy of creativity and love.
Margie would illuminate the room with her infectious laugh, raspy voice, and irresistible joy. She enjoyed hosting parties and being surrounded by those she loved. Margie was proud of the development and accomplishments of her grandchildren. Watching them learn and grow warmed her heart beyond measure. Her goal was always to have children, but becoming a grandmother was the ultimate gift. We will forever miss her warm hugs, encouraging words, and her favorite signature – I love you whole bunchies and all my heart.
