Born in Philadelphia, Kay has resided in Lower Bucks County for most of her life and was an original Levittown homeowner. She was a founding and active member of Queen of the Universe parish where she volunteered her time at the parish school.
Kay was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Her world revolved around her family and she would always make herself available whenever they needed her. She adored her grandchildren and her face would light up whenever talking about or spending time with them.
Kay had the ability to make anyone feel like family through her generosity and kindness.
Beloved wife of the late Raymond C. Smith for 68 years, Kay was the loving mother of Raymond Smith (Mary), Geralyn Seiferth (Paul), Debbie Talecki (Joe), Michael Smith (Trish) and Mark Smith (Helene).
She was the devoted grandmother of Kimberly, Lisa, Gina, Paul, Patrick, Jamie, Madeline, Marisa, Michael, Jaclyn, Emily and Matthew and great grandmother of Owen, Olivia, Linus, Sophia, Hugh, Colson and Ella.
She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 23rd at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
