Joseph B. Javornik Joseph B. Javornik died, surrounded by his loving family, at his home in Levittown on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. He was 82. Born in Pittsburgh, he was a Bristol Township resident since 1954. Mr. Javornik was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown and a member of American Legion Post 834 of Fallsington. He was a crane operator for US Steel Fairless Works from 1953 until his retirement in 1986. Mr. Javornik had also worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Mr. Javornik was the loving father of the late Joseph and Paul. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Alice H. (Bradney), and his devoted children, Therese Michalak (Albert), Milissa Wang (John), Beth Ann Bunting (William) and daughter-in-law, Donna Javornik. He will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Joseph, Ashley, Katelyn, John, Grace, Emily, Laura, Tyler, Evan, Zachary, Annalyse and great granddaughter Alyssa (Peanut). Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 9:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown. Interment will be private.
