James W. Snow of Levittown died on Wednesday, January 13, 2015 at his home. He was 74. Born in York County, James Moved to Bensalem as a teenager and was a 1959 graduate of Bensalem High School where he played football and participated in various other activities. He moved to Levittown in the early 1970's. He worked for Griffin Pipe in Florence, NJ for over 30 years. James was a member of Emilie United Methodist Church. He was also active with the Bux/Mont Squires of Song and the Friends of Bolton Mansion. He will be remembered as a very active and energetic man within his community. He loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed biking, hiking skiing, kayaking and gardening. James was the beloved husband of the late Ruth Snow. He was the loving father of Deborah A. Wardick (Henry III) of Knoxville, TN and the proud grandfather of Sophie and Quinten. He will also be missed by 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Family and friends are invited to his memorial service on Saturday, 2 p.m. at Emilie United Methodist Church, 7300 New Falls Rd., Levittown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Bolton Mansion, c/o 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA 19056.
