Frank Pursell

Frank Pursell III, a life long resident of Lower Bucks County, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on Thursday, January 13, 2011. He was 56. Son of the late Frank Pursell Jr. and the late Joyce Link, Frank is survived by his stepmother Lois Pursell. He was the devoted father of Christopher Pursell (Lori), Heather West (Jim) and Rebecca Pursell (Sam) and the beloved grandfather of Taylor, Daniel, Shane, Anthony, Alex Sean, Ronnie, Michael and Keith. He leaves behind his siblings, Clinton Pursell (Carmen), Judie Pursell, Joyce Short (Pat), Lisa Pursell-Tummarello (Ken), Michele Cartolaro (Tony), Thomas Ward and Debbie Maggio and many nieces and nephews. Frank's greatest gift was the gift of friendship. He had an amazing heart and an abundant presence that was able to light up a room with laughter and witticism. He was a talented artist; best known for his tattooing abilities. Even as he struggled through cancer, his spirits continued to stay high and like always, Frank stayed more concerned about others than himself. Family and friends may call Thursday from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his memorial service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Associated Production Services, Inc., 325 Andrews Road, Trevose, PA 19053.
