Florence A. Parks

Florence A. Parks of Levittown died on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Chandler Hall. She was 81. Born and raised in Norristown, Mrs. Parks has been a resident of Levittown since 1957. A care giver for most of her life, she was employed with Statesman Nursing Home for 15 years until retiring. Mrs. Parks was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bristol. She was an accomplished seamstress. Mrs. Parks was the beloved wife of the late James D. Parks. She was the loving mother of Cheryl A. Walter (Charles Jr.), Kim M. Gahagan (Scott) both of Levittown and the late Denise J. Parks. She was the devoted grandmother of Cheryl R. Kane (Michael), Jessica L. and Charles B. Walter III and great grandmother of Angelina E., Ariella C., Joseph E. and the late Michael A. Kane. She will also be missed by her brothers Harold Loux of Tennessee and Dennis Templeton of Pottstown; her sister Paula Pfaff of New Jersey and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 301 Jefferson Avenue, Bristol, PA 19007 where friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. precisely on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
