Born in Bristol, PA, he was a lifelong area resident. He was a 1994 graduate of Bensalem High School, and attended Manor Junior College.
From an early age, Elwood had a passion for autos. he grew up working on cars, and enjoyed the outdoors on his quads and motorcycles. Elwood worked alongside his uncle, the Charles Krok, who was owner/operator of Highway Motors in Penndel.
Elwood would always lend a helping hand, and would answer any friends call for help day or night. He always "had a guy" if you needed something fixed.
Predeceased by his grandparents, Charles and Florence Krok; his uncle, Charles Krok; and his aunt, Rita Sankovich; Elwood is survived by his mother Pauline Krok; his brother Tom Collins (Judy); his brother Bill Heuston (Donna); his sister Jenn Dolnick; his niece Sydney Heuston; his nephew Tom Collins II; his cousins Michael J. Sankovich and Jonathan Sankovich (Dan Linwood). The family wished to extend a special thanks to all of Elwood's friends who were considered family (there are too many to list).
Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. The funeral service will commence at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
