Eleanore R. SchumacherEleanore R. Schumacher died on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at her home at the age of 88.Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Schumacher has been an original Levittown homeowner and a longtime devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bristol.In her earlier years she taught Sunday School at Calvary Baptist Church and was also a member of their Red Hats Club.Mrs. Schumacher enjoyed traveling in her younger years, especially to Europe, Switzerland, Germany, and Jerusalem.Beloved wife of the late Louis G. and loving mother of the late Laurie T. and Stephen L., Mrs. Schumacher is survived by her devoted children, Louis R. Schumacher (Karen), Paul D. Schumacher, and Sophie R. Lohr (Dave).She will also be sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren, Gregory, Dustin, Vanessa, Richard, Kyrie, Kyle, Erika, Elexis and Hunter; 2 great grandchildren, Calvin and Emma; her twin sister, Ruth Kurtz; daughter-in-law Rae Anne; and numerous nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, June 21, 2018, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and also on Friday, June 22, 2018, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem.
