Born in Philadelphia, Dottie was a long time resident of Lower Bucks County.
Known to all as the sweetest lady with the most beautiful smile, she was a Life Member of the Liberty Bell Chapter #6 of the New Vision Pioneers for nearly 40 years and served as President from 1996-1997. This membership was a great badge of pride for Dottie, and she truly thrived on the volunteer work this group, along with the Pioneer Clowns, did to help others. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Neshaminy Chapter for over 20 years, a member of the Moose International Morrisville group from 2009-2022 mostly enjoying their social events along with her partner, Bruce, and a member of the Senior Citizens groups in Falls and Bristol Townships since 1999. She thoroughly enjoyed the many trips to Vegas, Avalon, Alaska, the casinos, playing cards, the themed parties, and OH, the Dances! She always was involved with the dances!
Dottie loved dressing up in costume and would do so to the hilt! She was a member of the Red Hat Society for 20 years, and wearing Red and Purple was their signature. As a group that symbolizes a movement of women determined to celebrate every stage of life, they are "women enjoying fellowship and having a lot of fun". She also enjoyed being a member of the "Yarrowettes" - Ladies who gathered socially originating on her street in the Flowers Mill 55+ community - Yarrow Way.
Preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph R. Quigley, her beloved second husband, John R. Fitzpatrick, and her long time partner, Bruce Hull, Dottie was the loving mother of Jim Quigley, Brian Quigley, Dotty Kerr (Ron) and the late Joe Quigley (Lois).
She was the devoted grandmother of Candice (Garett), Kristy (Herman), Nicole (Brett), Michelle (fiancé, Kevin), Matthew (Jess) and Kelly (fiancé, Alex) and great grandmother of Maddison, Vivienne, Kayleigh, Peyton, Liam, Charlotte, Bodhin, Quinn, Lilly, Emerson, Herman, and Penelope.
Preceded in death by her parents, Martha Brown Standeven and Ivan Standeven and brother, Robert Standeven, she is survived by her brother, James Standeven; nieces and nephews, Mary, Robert, Kathleen, Patti; 12 great nieces and nephews and many great great nieces and nephews.
Anyone who had the gift of knowing Dottie knew there was absolutely nothing more important to her than her family. NOTHING!
