Deborah A. Siegel of Levittown died on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Fox Chase Cancer Center. She was 55. Deborah was born in Kenmore, NY and raised in Sanborn, NY where she graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School in 1975. She has resided in Levittown since 1989. Deborah was employed with Gindin Insurance Agency in Langhorne for 13 years. She loved to cook and garden and will be remembered as a hard working, loving and giving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Hopfer, Deborah was the beloved wife of Christopher Siegel for nearly 28 years. She was the loving mother of Colette C. Scherrer of Clarence, NY and the devoted grandmother of Tyler and Natalie. She was the sister of Robert Hopfer of Niagara Falls, NY, Jane Smith of Newfane, NY and Patricia Hluska of Winston Salem, North Carolina. She will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Daniel. Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Wednesday at 2 p.m at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission, 71 Bellevue Ave., Penndel, PA 19047.
