Anna M. Dougherty Anna M. "Nancy" Dougherty died on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 surrounded by her loving family in Levittown. She was 80. Born and raised in Saint Columbas Parish, Philadelphia, she was a resident of Middletown Township since 1969 and was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish. Nancy's life was centered around her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed making floral arrangements, crafts and baking and was a true lover of all animals. Beloved wife of 58 years to her high school sweetheart, Anthony J. Dougherty, Jr., she was the loving mother of Joseph (Karen), Brian (Donna), Mary Krick (Steve), Patti Leipziger (Michael), Michael (Vincenza), Annie Helder (Bernie), Tony (Nancy) and Chrissy Corbin (Mike); the devoted grandmother of 15; proud great grandmother of 5; and the sister of Patricia Brosious. She will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, 5:00 until 7:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, 10:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2442 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours on Monday morning. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Women's Humane Society, 3839 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
