Leslie M. Holland

Funeral services for Leslie Holland, 65, of Levelland, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 28, at George Price Funeral Chapel in Levelland. Burial will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery following the service.

Les passed away August 24, 2014 in Lubbock, TX.

He was born August 9, 1949 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Johnny Holland and Enid Allen.

He married Linda Holland on January 19, 1973 in Levelland, Texas.

Les moved to Levelland in 1976 where he worked for Rush Welding and Boggs Manufacturing as a heavy equipment painter and then later worked with his family in the glass business, farming, and finally at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Dale Wayne, Milton, and Kenneth Holland

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Nikki Wisdom and husband Alan, Wyndy Ragan and husband Jack, all of Levelland; two brothers, EV Holland of Salt Lake City, Utah and Hobart Holland of Cleburne, Texas; three sisters, Diantha Roberts, Brenda Slauson and husband Bob, of Cleburne, Texas, and Lorraine Rainwater and husband Walter of Fort Worth , Texas; seven grandchildren, Jordan Ragan of Denver City, Texas, Chay Wisdom and wife Amber, Chad Wisdom, Chessa Wisdom, John Ragan, Joshua Ragan and Jacen Ragan all of Levelland.
