Gary Stanley

Services for Gary Lynn Stanley will be held Monday, January 19, 2015 at 2PM at South Plains Church in Levelland. Burial will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 2-4PM at George Price Funeral Home. Gary was born September 30, 1945 in Breckenridge to Cecil and Francis Stanley. He graduated from Levelland High School in 1963 and married Betty Grider that same year. Gary retired from Amaco Oil Company in 1995. After retirement, Gary worked at KBar Electric. He and his wife, Betty, also owned and operated B-G Candy Company. One of the joys of his life was refereeing high school football for 25 years, and he was past President of Levelland Babe Ruth Baseball. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Linda Stanley. He is survived by his wife, Betty; two brothers, David (Jennifer) Kinney of Whitharral, Tx. And Kim (Kelly) Kinney of San Angelo, Tx.; sister, Karen (Jon) Ellis of San Angelo, Tx.; two children, Stacy (Matt) Morin of Mustang, Ok and Jude (Amy) Stanley of Ponder, Tx.; four grandchil-dren, Tarin (Ryan) Silk of Mustang, Ok, Adam Morin of Mustang, Ok, Jason Stanley and Emma Stanley of Ponder, Tx.; three great-grandchildren, Bristol Silk, Brenley Silk and Brooks Silk, all from Mustang, Ok. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gary should be sent to South Plains Church, Levelland, Texas
