Cynthia Cindy Ann Brown McGregor

Celebration of Life Services are under the direction of George Price Funeral Home in Levelland, Texas and will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Levelland, Texas with Reverend Paton Parrish and Reverend Sammy Elliott officiating. Interment will follow at the Blackwell Cemetery in Blackwell, Texas.

There will be a Family Visitation on Friday, July 20, 2012 at George Price Funeral Home in Levelland, Texas from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

Cindy was born April 22, 1953 in Sweetwater, Texas, the daughter of Arnold Mouzon and Helen ( Nabers ) Brown.

After her parents moved to Levelland when she younger,she attended and graduated from Levelland High School. She then went on to attend Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where she earned degrees in Early Childhood, Elementry Education, and Accounting. After dating and falling in love with, Cindy married Fred Michael McGregor on July 17, 1976 in Levelland, Texas. She retired from teaching in Midland, Texas in 2009. She was then employed as a payroll clerk for Wes Texas Company in Lubbock, Texas.

Cindy enjoyed playing a round or two of golf whenever possible. She was an accomplished needle point artist who enjoyed traveling with her husband and sightseeing every chance she could. She enjoyed taking care of her granddaughter, Kiley.

She is survived by her husband; Mike McGregor, two sons; Andrew McGregor of Hobbs, New Mexico and Patrick McGregor and his wife, Cody of Irving, Texas; a granddaughter, Kiley Brooke McGregor of Hobbs, New Mexico, her mother, Helen Brown of Levelland, Texas, a sister; Nancy Brashear and her husband, Brady of Levelland, Texas, her mother-in-law; Rebecca Stewart and sister-in-law, Roxanne Lindsey of Ft. Worth, Texas; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces,and great-nephews as well as extended family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Arnold Mouzon Brown, grand parents; R.D. and Eula Nabers, Jess and Noba Brown.
