Pauline Maggie Phillips, age 98, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023 at The Shaire Center. Pauline was born February 10, 1925 in Caldwell County to the late Charlie and Melia Sumpter Phillips.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Swanson, three brothers and one sister.
Pauline was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother. She worked for Green Manor Furniture for many years.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Brenda Prestwood and husband Tommy of Lenoir, and a granddaughter, Donna Prestwood Bristol of Carolina Beach.
Also surviving are three great grandchildren, Joshua Laforgia of Wilmington, Jacob Laforgia of Hickory, and Jesse Laforgia of Carolina Beach.
A funeral service will be held to honor Pauline on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Carr, Rev. Keith Gilliam and Rev. David Crisp officiating. Burial will follow the service at Belleview Cemetery in Lenoir.
Serving as pallbearers will be Gray Williams, Mike Wingler, Jerry Little, Joel Snyder, Lee Adams and Eric Collins.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 1:45 pm until 2:45 pm at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home.
