Kenneth Eugene Greene

Kenneth Eugene Greene, age 64, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at his residence. Mr. Greene was born April 4, 1959 in Caldwell County to the late Larry Abernathy and Mildred Greene Smith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Smith.

Kenneth was a kind and giving man, willing to help anyone who needed it. He was a very hard worker, despite the hardships he faced, he was always a happy man. He loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed the time he was able to spend with them. He enjoyed watching wrestling and nascar.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Joseph Greene of Fargo, North Dakota, his daughters, Sonny Bentley of Lenoir, Heather Greene of Lenoir, a brother Jeffrey Greene of Lenoir, step-brother, Charles Smith of Lenoir. Also surviving are several grandchildren and step-grandchildren that he loved very much.

A Celebration of Life to honor Kenneth will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm At Pendry's.
