Karen was born in Catawba County and is the daughter of Everette Bryant and Phyllis Haas Bryant of Lenoir.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband John S. Walker Jr. of the home; daughters, Anna Hoyle of Lenoir, Allison Story and husband Jeremy of Lenoir; step-son, John Allen Walker of Bowling Green, KY; sisters, Renee Clark of Hertford, NC, Lynn Lail of Hudson, Jennifer Fisher of Lenoir and Andrea Bryant of Germany; and a granddaughter, Ava Walker of Bowling Green KY.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church with Reverend Phillip Hawkins officiating. Receiving of friends will be an hour prior to the service.
The family requests that memorials be made to New Life Baptist Church Children’s Ministry at 2111 Walt Arney Rd. Lenoir, NC 28645.
