She was the daughter of the late J. B. Blevins and Mary Ellen Smart Blevins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Russell Cornwall.
Survivors include her daughter, Carla Cecile Javier; her sons, Larry Howard Correll, Jay Christopher Correll and Timothy Tate Correll; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Correll; granddaughter, Jordan Blake Correll and grandson, Matteson Tate Correll; her sisters, Janice Brackett and Sandra Posner; her brothers, Bobby and Bill Blevins; and Larry Correll.
Jean Correll was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She never knew a stranger and was called Mama Jean by those who loved her. She loved to travel to be with her family and visited them as often as she could. Her travels took her to coastal Carolina to be with her son and grandchildren, and she made many trips to the bush Alaskan Villages to fish and visit her oldest son.
She thanked the Lord for bringing Carla back into her life and enjoyed visiting with her as often as she could.
Mama Jean is in Heaven watching over all of us, so we should not mourn her passing, but rejoice in knowing she is with the Lord and will never know pain again.
