Erwin Lee KIng

Mr. King was born on November 9, 1938 in Caldwell County to the late Marie King Huffstetler.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son Erwin Lee King Jr.

Mr. King attended Lenoir High School and served four years in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Valmead Fire Department, Lenoir Fire Department, and relocated to Virginia Beach, Virginia where he also served as a Captain on the Virginia Beach Fire Department. In his later years, he worked in maintenance at Koinonia Apartments in Lenoir.

He is survived by a son, Thomas King of Lenoir and two grandsons, Grayson King and Tristan Ross.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday December 10, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Belleview Cemetery in Lenoir.
