Emma Jean Price

Emma Jean Price, age 72, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 peacefully at Novant Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, N.C. She was born to the late Clay Alvin Taylor and Mary Lee (Shores) on October 2,1952 in Watauga Co., N.C.

Emma Jean is predeceased by her husband Ray Price.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son Jason Earp (Crystal) and her daughter Monica Brooks.

Emma Jean was employed as a factory worker in the textile industry. She worked at the Collettsville General Store for a number of years as well, a job she enjoyed immensely.

She adored her three grandchildren, Shelbie, Benjamin, Lucas and her two great grandchildren, Waylon and Kash.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation for her family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 12:00 to 12:50 p.m. at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse, P. O. Box 3000, Boone, N.C. 28607.
