Buddy Eugene Coffey

Mr. Buddy Eugene Coffey, 63, of Lenoir passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir. Mr. Coffey was born January 23, 1960 in Vance County to the late James and Betty Bryant Coffey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Coffey.

Buddy was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He loved his church family and serving his Lord and Savior. Buddy was a dedicated husband to Brenda who will miss him greatly. He enjoyed gardening and being outside.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Brenda Thomas Coffey of the home, 3 brothers, Donald Coffey and wife Willa of Lenoir, David Coffey and wife Jo Ann of Taylorsville, Michael Coffey and wife Angie of Hudson and a sister, Linda Coffey of Lenoir.

Also left to cherish his memory are numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A funeral service to honor Buddy will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Temple Baptist Church at 3:00 pm with Rev. Joel Bixler and Rev. Micah Still officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Delay, Nathan Beaver, Robbie Beaver, Scott Coffey, Michael Coffey and Charles Greer. Honorary pallbearers will be Luke Firman and Nate Bonnell.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the church.
