Benny David Buckner

Mr. Buckner worked for Griffin Security Company for many years. He graduated from Happy Valley High School and from Fruitland Baptist Seminary.

He is survived by wife of 60 years, Mary Wilson Buckner, son, David Wayne Buckner of Lenoir, brothers Grady Lee Buckner of Whitnel, and Raymond Buckner of Newland, sisters Madeline Carver of Whitnel, and Ruth Hollar of Granite Falls.

A graveside service will be held at the Zack’s Fork Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. and will be officiated by Rev. Jim Hamby.
