Addie Ellen Reid Sears, age 91 of Lenoir, passed away, on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Amorem Hospice Born Wednesday, July 29, 1931 to the late Hugh Reid and Mary Elizabeth Miller Reid, in Caldwell County, NC.
In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband Gene Wilkie Sears, siblings Floyd, Mack, Homer, Odell, Josephine, and Dessie.
Ms. Sears is survived by her sons David Sears and Kevin Sears (Wife Pat) and daughter Cindy Sears. Two grandchildren Joey Sears and Lisa Shuffler along with a great granddaughter Makayla Arnette.
Addie will be remembered for being a loving mother and grandmother, and she was a very hard worker. She would do anything for anyone that needed a helping hand. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
The Sears family will receive friends Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm at Dudley Shoals Baptist Church.
The Funeral Service for Addie will be held at Dudley Shoals Baptist Church, on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Kyle Lloyd.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
