Lem De Stott

He was of the Baptist faith, he graduated from Pineville High School in Pineville, La. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved to have cookouts with his family and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He began working in the construction industry in his late twenties. He loved his family, community, and he will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him.

Mr. Stott was preceded in death by his parents; Audie Stott and Lois Sterns, brothers; Jimmy Ray Stott, Carroll Lee Stott and Denton Stott; one sister Cecilia Ann Stott.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three sons, Brandon Stott, Shannon Stott and Dean Towery, Jr; two sisters, Judy James and Audrey Marie Martin; and a grandson, Landon Stott; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, May 26, 2017 from 4pm to 8pm at the Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, LA. Services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 1pm in the Hixson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Chimene Jr. and Ms. Carol Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery in LaCamp, LA.

Honoring Mr. Stott as pallbearers will be Jimmy Stott, Dean Towery, Artis Phillips, Jesse Slaughter.
