Howard Johnson

He was born on May 16, 1942 to Elber and Gertrude (Brister) Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Howard Douglas Johnson, and one brother, Gene Johnson.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife Maudine Johnson of Livingston, TX; two daughters Tina Miller and husband, Bill, of Houston, TX and Janell D. Shaw and husband, John, of Texas City, TX. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Billy Miller, Jr., Ashton Bramlett, Hunter Miller, Randall Miller, John "JR" Shaw, Jr. and Jason Shaw; one brother, Manfried "Bit" Johnson; one sister, Ruby G. Johnson Comeione; numerous nieces and nephews.

Howard was a plumber and owned Howard Johnson Plumbing, Co for many years before retiring.

A funeral service will be on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 12 pm with Rev. Mark Christian officiating. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service at Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Leesville.
