He will be remembered as a man of God. He taught by example. He loved his loving wife, Mary with his entire being,. He was a family man who loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Bertha Ferguson; sister, Berlene Sweatt brothers, Richard, Cecil Jr, Pat, Dale, Jimmy and Berry(Peanut).
Mike is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ferguson; sister, Gloria Greathouse; son, Roger Ferguson (Greg); daughters Angie Loftis (Gary), Cristy Castleberry (Randy); grandchildren, Ashley Wideman (Donnie), Kelsey Giles (Brandon), Amber Loftis, Ryan Loftis (Autumn), Austin Ferguson (Brooklyn), Dylan Lee, Brooklyn Lee, Clay Castleberry, and Owen Castleberry; great grandchildren, Brayden Wideman, Cole Wideman, Ezra Wideman, Blake Werts, Berkley Werts, Sawyer Giles, Ayden Cole, Madalyn Ferguson and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 1:00PM with burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Pell City, AL.
