Mary Jane Box Hicks, age 73 of Trussville, Alabama passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Nanny, Mary Jane, Janie or whatever you called her, she would answer. Mary Jane never refused anyone or said no. She did her very best to show the love of Jesus in deed, not just words. Her favorite song was titled, “ One Day Jesus Will Call My Name” and He did on Sunday. To which, she responded quickly and joyfully! Mary Jane is survived by her son, Donald Jennings (Laura); daughter, Angel Harrison (Scott); grandchildren, Chelsea Ray (Jon), Jeremiah Jennings (Savannah), Benjamin Jennings, Isaac Jennings; great grandchildren, Mallory Jane Ray and Jack Jennings. Services for Mary will be Sunday July 7, 2024 at Park Avenue Baptist Church with a visitation from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and memorial time of remembrances.
