Kerry Brandon Forester, age 51 of Leeds, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2023. Kerry was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Forester; and grandparents Romie Boyer, Herschel Eugene Boyer, Jake Forester, and Bernice Forester. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Forester; sons, Jake Forester and Nathan Forester; his mother, Janet DeMay; cousins Laura Osborne (Zach) and Tyler Forester; his uncle, Lee Forester. Kerry graduated from Jefferson State Community College with a degree in nursing. He was a nurse at UAB, Grandview, and St. Vincent’s St. Clair. He was a First Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do. He was a member of The Society for Creative Anachronism. He was a Boy Scout. Kerry loved the arts, theater, and music of the 70’s and 80’s. He loved dad jokes and puns. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home 1750 Ashville Road Leeds, Alabama 35094.
