Clay you will be missed so much.  I am glad to have been able to meet you and your wonderful wife and son. You were such a awesome Husband, Father, Friend and a wonderful person.  I thank you so much for the friendship of my Son and Daughter-in-law Nick and Amanda Bosque and my Grandson Nicholas.They thought the world of you, Amanda and Will. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and Will, Amanda, as well as the rest of the family and all of Clay's friends.  There was hardly a day that Andrew didn't mention Clay.  They had definitely become big buds.  And there were many evenings/weekends when the guys would play PSIII and I would sometimes yell out a "hey" to Clay through Andrew's headset…and give them a hard time for playing video games.  It always warmed my heart when Andrew would say Clay went offline to go read a bedtime story to Will.  And Andrew loved spending time in Clay's element...at AU or on the softball field.  I regret not having the chance to have known Clay better.  I could tell the first time I met him that he and I would have gotten along great…and at the expense of Andrew.  The guys were always trying to get us all together for dinner and we had just not gotten it scheduled.  I know Clay was a wonderful person based on how highly Andrew spoke of him.  I'm praying God's comfort and peace for you and Will in the days and weeks ahead.  We are here for you in whatever way you need us.

I was on the plane when this most unfortunate event happened. I cannot imagine the pain Mr. Yates felt at that time or in losing a child at any time. I pray that God will help you find peace at this most difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss, my deepest sympathies to Amanda and Will. My God wrap his loving arms around you both and offer peace and comfort.

Clay was a fine man and he will be missed by all. My heart goes out to his "sweet" family and my dear cousin. I also want to express my condolences to my dearest friends Dan and Celia I am so very sorry for your loss.

My heart aches for Clay's family.  Such a great guy.  I will miss Clay's tailgating posts every Saturday morning. My hope is that his family will find peace and comfort in knowing Clay is with his Heavenly Father.  God Bless you all.

Clay and I met on the Auburn message board back in 2010. We would talk on and off about auburn football. We had discussed meeting up at some point each season but it just never happened. I enjoyed seeing yall at the ball park this fall. I am in shock about this. I will be praying for you and Will. Clay was an awesome guy and there will always be a little void in me know during football season. Miss you buddy! WAR EAGLE CLAY!

I am so blessed to have known him. He was a great inspiration on my son and myself. He was a great man. He will be missed by many, but his legacy will always remain. We love you Clay.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Clay was a wonderful young man whose spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

 I can only say what I feel at this moment in compete shock. Clay was my tailgate buddy a few years back when we used to set up across from Forestry. We had a great time over there. I'm blessed to have shared a small snip it of my life with you guys. Clay and I spoke from time to time on the phone about the Tigers and possible job openings on the Plains. I hate that I hadn't seen him in person for so long. May God be with you and little Clay during this time of grief. War Eagle,  Clay! Gonna miss ya brother!
