Annie Frances Taylor

She was born on September 15, 1929 to Carl and Susie Jones. She always remembered fondly being one of 9 children and being a part of a large family.

She was a long time member of Happy Home Baptist Church, Leeds, Alabama, where she faithfully attended for many years, until moving to Mississippi to live with her daughter and son in law. She enjoyed watching Alabama football, doing crossword puzzles and reading. But, her most precious times were spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and reading her Bible. She also enjoyed the 20 plus years that she worked at The Pants Store in Leeds, recalling sweet memories of the people she worked with and met there.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Richard Taylor, her parents and her 8 siblings.

Survivors are her daughter, Dianne Taylor Wentworth (Stuart), grandchildren, Elissa Wentworth Roberts (Matt), Louis Taylor Wentworth (Laken), Grace Wentworth King (Drew), 9 great grandchildren and her nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday Dec. 27 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with the service beginning at 1:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home 1750 Ashville Road Leeds, Alabama 35094. Burial will follow at Moody Cemetery.

The family requests memorial tributes be directed to Moody Cemetery Fund or Happy Home Baptist Church.
