Watching Aaron fishing on tv shows he was such a true gentleman and superb angler.   My heart goes out to his family.   What a tragic loss

Such a great man.  Thanks for all the memories .   Wear those bass out in heaven Aaron. Rest In Peace brother.  

A great fisherman and a true gentleman on and off the water. May the memories of Aaron be a blessing to all who knew him.

Aaron was always a friend to the outdoor press and someone I could call on to get info about bass fishing. He was always there for me and also for other outdoor writers. He was quiet giant in the bass fishing world and always the ultimate professional. I will miss him as I know many others will too. John E. Phillips 

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the Martens, we know Aaron is no longer in pain and is with our Heavenly Father. My husband knew  you from many years ago as anglers friends on the water. I was fortunate enough to know  you for a short time as a DUO RealIs  teammates you were a shining beacon of what to aspire to be as a brother as a friend. We will miss you so much and  we will see you again someday brother.

I meet Aaron at Lake Chickamauga. He was pre-fishing for a   bassmasters elite series event. He took time to take a photo with me. I have had the chance to meet several pro anglers , but Aaron was different,  He treated me like we had known each other a long time, even though we had just met.  I would like to send thoughts, prayers, and my deepest sympathy.
