It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ron Oleksiw at the age of 59.
Ron’s love for life was seen when helping others with his extensive handyman knowledge, various outdoor activities including RVing, golfing and skiing; and taking pride in his old vehicles.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife Marg of 39 years, son Kevin, daughter Jennifer (Nick); sisters Rose (Jim), Grace (Randy), Judy (Ted), brother Glen (Lorna); along with numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Josie and nephew, Jason. Ron’s father Alec passed away on July 15, 2013.
We would like to thank family and friends for their love and support throughout the past two years and in this difficult time. A special thank you to the ALS Society of Alberta, U of A ALS Clinic, and the medical staff of the Leduc Community Hospital for the great care and compassion given to Ron.
