Lloyd Pearson

On August 26, 2015, Lloyd Pearson of Leduc (formerly of Calmar) passed away peacefully at Leduc Extendicare with family by his side at the age of 90 years.

He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Angela; his three children, Elaine (Perry) Dougan, David (Yvonne), and Daniel (Gerry); seven grandchildren, Kristen (Ben) Herman, Michael Dougan, Andrew (Sheena), Jonathan (Marilyn), Daniel, Vincent and Lee; four great-grandchildren, Maxwell and Rose, Tanner and Emma; brother-in-law, Gus (Adele) Bendoritis, two sisters-in-law, Leona (Ernie) Fix, and Shirley Krause; numerous nieces, nephews and friends, as well as relatives in Sweden.

Lloyd was predeceased by his parents, L Andrew and Ellen; and three brothers, Vernon (Gudrun), Clair (Avis) and Ray.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 5105 – 45A Street, Leduc, with Father Leo Hofmann officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Michael’s Planning for Tomorrow Fund, 5105 – 45A Street, Leduc, Alberta T9E 5X1, or the charity of one’s choice.

Lloyd’s family extends heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the kind and compassionate staff of Leduc Extendicare for their loving care over the past four years.
