Bill Barrett

Bill will be lovingly remembered by his son Kelly, daughter in law Trish, granddaughters Mikayla, Jada, and Lyndee, sister Barb, and many friends in Sechelt, BC and Leduc, AB. He is predeceased by his father Ray, mother Irene, and brother George.

Bill was born in Kamloops, BC and lived in a number of places in Alberta and BC throughout his life. He spent 3 years in the Canadian Navy, and for many years he worked as a long-haul truck driver. An avid outdoorsman Bill loved hunting, fishing and being in nature. He loved being on the water and spent 23 years living on the West Coast on a boat in Sechelt, BC. In 2021 he moved to Leduc to be closer to his family, creating more memories with them and making many friends at Planeview Place where he lived.

At Bill’s request, no service will be held.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Planeview Place, the Leduc Hospital, and the UofA Hospital for their care and compassion.
