Mary Jane Carpenter

Mary Jane M. Carpenter, 94, of Annville, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in the Lebanon Valley Home, Annville. She was the wife of the late Kenneth F. Carpenter. She was born in Lebanon on February 12, 1922, a daughter of the late Guy R. and Edna M. Carver Heim. Mary Jane was employed as a registered nurse with Dr. Peter B. Flowers for over 21 years. She was a member of the First Evangelical Congregational Church in Lebanon; Lebanon Chapter #115 Order of Eastern Star; Lebanon Court #131 Order of Amaranth; Ladies Auxiliary of Hermit Commandery. She was a 1945 graduate of Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing. Mary Jane is survived by a daughter, Lauretta E. Fasnacht wife of Elwood of Cornwall; granddaughter, Elizabeth J. Bryner wife of Matthew P. of Lancaster; Brian K. Fasnacht husband of Michelle M. of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Allen, Bernard and Guy Heim. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 1:30 pm in the Chapel of Lebanon Valley Home, 550 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing on Monday from 12:30 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lebanon Valley Home. Rohland Funeral Home, Inc. is handling her arrangements.
