Margaret Margie E Rhoads

Margaret E. (Margie) Rhoads, 73 of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, February 2nd, 2015 in the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, Harrisburg. She was born in Water Works on September 29th, 1941, a daughter of the late John and Stella Flory Lash. Margie was the companion of Charles T. Simpson, Lebanon. Ms. Rhoads was a seamstress for the Herman Herzman and Company where she retired. She enjoyed family, friends and was mother to many. Surviving in addition to her companion is her son Edward G, husband of Kathy Rhoads; daughters: Tina M. Farling and Lori A. Walker all of Lebanon; grandchildren: Roxann Walker, Joshua and Taylor Rhoads; brother and sisters: Charlotte Andrews, Francis Weaver, Doris Earhart, Ginny Haynes, Ed “ Butch” Lash, June Lash; several nieces and nephews. Margie was predeceased by her brother, Gerald Lash. There will be an evening viewing on Sunday, February 8th, 2015 from 6:00PM-8:00PM in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, PA., 17042. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 9th, 2015 at 10:00AM with a viewing from 9:00AM until the time of the service in the funeral home. Interment will be in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Margie’s memory to the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence 1701 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, Pa., 17110, as their warm and loving care guided her to our Lord or Children’s Miracle Network, Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 855, Mail Code A190, 90 Hope Drive, Hershey PA., 17033-0855, where her love of all children can continue to be shared.
